Children’s Programs

Three children’s programs make their home in the Oakridge Community Centre: the Before & After School Care Program and Winter Break and Spring Break Camps – both community-run, as well as the privately owned and operated Tools for Kids Preschool.

In addition, over the summer months, the Community Centre, through the Oakridge Racquet Club, provides Kids Tennis Programs and Kids Tennis Summer Camps. Please Click Here for details.

Power Skating Winter 2019 (6-10 Year olds)

Increase speed, agility and strength of your skating with a warm up, drills and a fun, short hockey game. Kids must be able to;

  • Push and glide with alternate feet
  • backward skate the width of the ice
  • snow plow stop
  • forward crossover
  • skate with a hockey stick

 

This is NOT a learn to skate program and full hockey equipment is mandatory

Cost is $80 members or $100 non- members for the 8 week session
