Children’s Programs

Three children’s programs make their home in the Oakridge Community Centre: the Before & After School Care Program and Winter Break and Spring Break Camps – both community-run, as well as the privately owned and operated Tools for Kids Preschool.

In addition, over the summer months, the Community Centre, through the Oakridge Racquet Club, provides Kids Tennis Programs and Kids Tennis Summer Camps. Please Click Here for details.

Community Mobile Skatepark June 17 – July 3, 2018

All participants must have a signed waiver, if under 18, the participant will need it signed by a parent / guardian before being able to participate in this program. A skateboard and a helmet are also required. Waivers are available on-site and on

Extra boards and helmets may be available on a first come, first serve loan basis.

Skating Lessons 2018

Power Skating (6-10 years)

Increase speed, agility and strength of your skating with a warm up, drills and fun, short hockey game. Kids must be able to push and glide with alternate feet and backward skate the width of the ice, snow plow stop, forward crossover, and skate with a hockey stick. Full hockey equipment mandatory.

This is NOT a learn to skate program.

Cost is $80 members or $100 non- members for the 8 week session
