Stampede Breakfast set for Sunday, July 10th
For the first time since 2019, the Oakridge Community Association Stampede Breakfast will be held on Sunday, July 10th at the Oakridge Community Centre.
The free event runs from 9 to 11 a.m.
Besides a free breakfast, attendees can also enjoy a children’s used book sale provided by the Calgary Public Library Book Truck, horse rides and line dancing.

Neighbourhood Coffee & Chat launches Feb. 23
Jetana Concession Stand, the new eatery in the Oakridge Community Centre, is launching a neighbourhood coffee and chat.
Residents are welcome to come to the centre every Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. to noon for coffee and a little conversation.
The first chat is scheduled for Feb. 23rd.
Learn to play Bridge
This spring, the EndsInY Bridge Club will be offering Bridge lessons at the Oakridge Community Centre.
Lessons take place from March 22nd to May 10th and there are two classes available. The first class, on Tuesday mornings from 9:15 to 11:45 a.m., will focus on Bidding. The second class, on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 to 3 p.m., will focus on Defence.
Each lesson is $180 (GST included), which included eight classes and textbook.
Pre-registration takes place until Feb. 20th, and a minimum of 14 students are required to run the lessons. They are capped at 22 people.

Member Indoor Skating
Member skating takes place throughout the fall and winter seasons on the following days and times:
Tuesdays from 3 – 4:30 p.m. Thursdays from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Sundays from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Racquet Sports
The Oakridge Racquet Club (ORC) is a part of the Oakridge Community Association. It is operated by the Association but receives direction from a newly formed ORC committee.
Through ORC, the Community Association offers outdoor pickleball and tennis, tennis interclub and indoor squash. A summer tennis component is a major part of ORC.
To participate in ORC’s Summer Tennis Program, an additional ORC membership is required. Court times are available for residents who have purchased Oakridge Community memberships and not full ORC memberships.
