Learn-to-Skate Program registration launches Oct. 1st
Registration for an eight-week Learn-to-Skate program for three- to six-year-olds launches on Oct. 1st.
The program runs on two different days: Tuesdays from Oct. 18th to Dec. 6th and Fridays from Oct. 21st to Dec. 9th. There are two levels available on each day: Beginner and Level 2. Classes are 30 minutes long.
Fees are $40 for Oakridge Community Association members and $50 for non-members. Parent participation may be required for the first few sessions and helmets are mandatory. Visit www.oakridgecommunity.ca to register.
Christmas Market comes to Oakridge on Nov. 5th
The Oakridge Community Before and After School Care Program presents its annual Christmas Market on Saturday, Nov. 5th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This free event will be held upstairs at the Oakridge Community Centre.
Oakridge Dance Classes registration open
The Dance Compound is offering dance classes in the upper atrium for Oakridge residents.
All ages are welcome for sessional classes in the fall, winter and spring on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Registration for Before and After School Care opens June 1st
Registration for “new families” of the Oakridge Community Before and After School Care program opens on June 1st at 7 a.m. for the 2022/23 school year.
The registration event will take place in the main floor arena lobby of the Oakridge Community Centre. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Oakridge Parent and Tot Playgroup
Parents and their children are invited to join a new playgroup that takes place every Thursday morning from 9 to 11 a.m.
The group is held in the upper level of the Oakridge Community Centre. Parents are asked to bring their own snack, water bottle, and face masks.
Proof of vaccination and picture ID is required and you need to ensure you have a current Oakridge Community Association membership prior to attending.

Regular Children’s Programs
Three children’s programs make their home in the Oakridge Community Centre: the Before & After School Care Program and Winter Break and Spring Break Camps – both community-run, as well as the privately owned and operated Tools for Kids Preschool.
In addition, over the summer months, the Community Centre, through the Oakridge Racquet Club, provides Kids Tennis Programs and Kids Tennis Summer Camps.
Dance Compound classes start Sept. 13th
